New Early Head Start Center To Open PDF  | Print |  E-mail
Tuesday, 22 November 2011 00:00
BrandiHSaturday, November 12, 2011 was a beautiful day for the opening of C4NC’s new early learning program site in San Antonio’s Southside. In partnership with South San Filadelfia Church, this site will provide comprehensive early child development services for 32 children and their families. As a result of a significant investment of both private and public funds, C4NC staff hosted a ribbon cutting to showcase this new site which incorporates a fully equipped learning center for children zero to three years old, a family learning place, and a beautiful, state-of-the-art natural playscape.

As part of the celebration,  program families joined the entire community and elected officials for this grand occasion, enjoying clowns, hat making, music, snowcones, hot dogs, and cotton candy. As stated by Rev. Victor Rodriguez in the ceremony, "This just the beginning of great things for Early Head Start families – the best is yet to come." The South San Filadelfia Early Learning Program is C4NC’s fourth service site in the San Antonio area. musiciansC4NC-staff
